Dear Readers,

I’m so glad to welcome you to my website. As I type this, it is a winter’s day outside my window. In the distance a line of mountains loom above the farm fields called The Catoctins. The trees are empty of leaves but clustered so close there is a dark blue tint to the smooth mounds. There’s a scent of snow in the air as the clouds gather, creating a perfect day for me to sit inside and write.

I’ve been asked to categorize my fiction. My books are not formula romances. They are what I like to call Inspirational Historical Dramas. You will find romance, but you will also find stories about relationships between people, stories about forgiveness, redemption, faith, and loyalty. Each character has good points, but they are also flawed human beings that make mistakes and fall hard, and at some point struggle through the adversity, dust themselves off and move on. So the sugary sweet romances they are not.

As I write, I keep you in mind. My mission is to give you a respite from the cares of the world that surrounds us all, and a reminder that God never forsakes us, especially in our most trying moments.
